After arriving at our base in Kirchdorf in Tirol, you’ll be welcomed by our experienced guides and equipped with full packrafting gear (packraft, wetsuit, shoes, helmet, life jacket, paddle). Your dry clothes and towels will be safely transported to the take-out point.We then travel together to the entry point on the Tiroler Ache in Kössen – depending on the group setup, partly in our vehicle and partly in your own car. Once there, our guides assist in inflating the packrafts and provide a thorough safety briefing before the adventure begins.The tour takes you through the wild and romantic Klobensteinschlucht gorge – paddling in agile solo boats through splashing whitewater sections and calmer passages, all surrounded by stunning natural scenery and dramatic rock formations.Along the way, we’ll take a break on a picturesque gravel beach. If you like, you can take a dip in the water, try wild swimming, or even jump from cliffs between 1 and 8 meters high – all optional and always supervised by our guides.At the end of the tour, your dry clothes will be waiting at the take-out point. You can change in peace before we take you back to the base – or to the starting point if you arrived in your own vehicle.

Does the tour take place in any weather? Yes, the tour takes place in almost any weather, even in the rain. It will only be cancelled under extreme conditions (e.g. storms, flooding). Safety comes first!Is the tour suitable for beginners? The tour is designed for sporty beginners and advanced paddlers. You should not be afraid of water and be willing to steer your own boat.What is the difference between packrafting and rafting? With packrafting, you paddle alone in a maneuverable inflatable single-person boat. It's more active, individual, and requires greater initiative.Do I have to jump? No – all optional activities are voluntary.Can I bring my phone? Yes, in a waterproof case – at your own risk.Are there photos from the tour? Our guides occasionally take photos. You're also welcome to bring your own action camera – at your own risk.
